Honolulu Pride is “Out for Justice” and a Logo

HONOLULU, HI – Honolulu Pride, Hawaii’s oldest Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Pride and Justice organization, announces the theme for the 2011 Honolulu Pride Parade and Celebration– OUT FOR JUSTICE.

“We chose the theme Out for Justice and the week after Governor Abercrombie signed the Civil Union’s bill into law to announce the theme because too many people think that the Civil Unions law is the end of Hawaii’s LGBT community struggle for justice and nothing could be further from the truth,” said Michael Golojuch, Jr., chair of Honolulu Pride “Justice, true justice is only a reality when all people are treated equally under the law. Civil Unions is only one segment in this journey to justice. ”

In 2010 Honolulu Pride saw its largest Pride Parade to date and with the passage of the Civil Unions law they are looking to this historic victory to help continue to grow. “The Honolulu Pride Parade is the most visible activity that Hawaii’s gay community has all year to give a public and very personal face to our community.” Says Rob Hatch, co-chair of the Parade, “Our parade helps us show our diversity to the community at large and the world.”

Honolulu Pride is also looking for a logo to go along with their theme – Out for Justice. The deadline for submissions is March 31, 2011. All entries need to be e-mailed to honoluluprideparade@gmail.com and become the property of Honolulu Pride. The winner will be announced in the beginning of April. Honolulu Pride kicks off Pride month for the State of Hawaii with Honolulu Pride Parade and Celebration on June 4, 2011. The Pride parade starts at 10 AM from Magic Island ending at Kapiolani Park and Bandstand where the Pride Celebration will go until 4 PM. Pride continues the following weekend on Kauai island, then the third weekend of June on the island of Maui and finally Hawaii Island Pride closes out Pride for the Aloha State.

First we would like to say Happy New Year!

We are really excited over here at Honolulu Pride about 2011. From the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” to the great outlook that Civil Unions will have of passing and being signed into law this year – 2011 is looking up!

So we are all ready for 2011 Honolulu Pride and here is what we have planned:

Honolulu Pride - Parade and Celebration is set for June 4, 2011.

The parade will start at 10 AM from Magic Island and end at Kapiolani Park. Attached to this e-mail is the early bird parade application! So if you submit your application with payment by February 28th you will receive a 10% discount!

Immediately following the parade with will have the Honolulu Pride Celebration in Kapiolani Park 10:30 AM – 4:00 PM. We will have local and national LGBT and ally organizations, local crafters, food vendors, a wonderful keiki area and great local entertainment.

The applications for the Celebration will be made available shortly!

If you want to help plan the 2011 Honolulu Pride please contact us either via e-mail, phone at 672-9050 or reach us on Facebook!

We are also in the planning stages of an Official After-Party to keep the Pride going all night long!

LAST HB 444 Update with the 4-4-4 Campaign....

Aloha Defenders of Justice and Equality,

We have had some great press over the last couple of days.

Monday/Tuesday news was about how the Business community supports HB 444 through the Hawaii Business Roundtable letter. A packet was delivered to Gov. Lingle sending this message.

Wednesday/Thursday news was about how the people support HB 444. This was shown through the delivery of over 7,500 pieces through petitions, postcards and letters to Gov. Lingle’s Office. Along with the QMark Poll that shows the public over whelming supports Civil Unions. Both of these were done by representatives of Equality Hawai’i, GLBT Caucus of the Democratic Party of Hawaii, Human Rights Campaign, PFLAG – Oahu and Pride Alliance Hawai’i.

Then the Honolulu Weekly dedicated their Cover Story to Gov. Lingle to ask her to sign HB 444 into law. As well as Civil Beats Editorial calling on Gov. Lingle to sign HB 444 into law.

This has truly been a community coming together to fight for a common goal that will benefit us all. We could not have done all this without your support – signing the petitions, writing the e-mails, making those calls and getting your friends and family to join us!

So with that in minds here are the last 4 things for the 4-4-4 Campaign:

1. Join Pride Alliance Hawaii’s Capitol Sign Waving & First Friday Chinatown March. Friday July 2: Sign Waving 4-6 pm at Hawaii State Capitol; Chinatown March 6-7 pm. Go to Pride Alliance Hawaii’s Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=107387042274&ref=ts for more info and updates.

2. E-mail Governor Lingle using Equality Hawaii’s Action Alert: Go to Equality Hawaii’s website at www.equalityhawaii.com and click on the orange “Act Now” button. Explain why passing HB 444 is important to you.

3. Call the Governor Lingle and get your friends to call to. (808) 586-0034 or for after hours use (808) 586-0221 or 0222.

4. March Together as One Community in the Kailua Independence Day Parade: Join PFLAG-Oahu in the Kailua Independence Day Parade on Monday July 5th. They will be staging on Uilama Street in UNIT #32. 6:30 AM - 7:00 AM - Set-up for the day

**7:00 AM – 9:00 AM – Sign waving in support of HB 444 becoming law

9:00 AM – 10:30 AM – Gathering to continue at the Capitol

10:30 AM – 11:30 AM - Pre-conference briefing – This is where you will hear from each of the groups that worked to get us where we are today and a presentation from Lambda Legal

**11:30 AM – 12:30 PM – Press Conference – Reaction to Gov. Lingle’s Announcement

If HB 444 is vetoed please be prepared to enter into the Senate and Representative’s Chambers in case there is an Override Session.

Following the Override Session

@1:30 PM – Surprise events and Open Mic

**4:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Sign waving in support of HB 444 and Equal Rights

Please note that these times (except for the sign waving) are our best guess for the day. The schedule will be dictated to us by when Gov. Lingle makes her veto list known to the public.

We will have signs but feel free to bring your own. If you received a rainbow lei during the past two years please wear it.

We ask that you do not wear white.

Kailua's Independence Day Parade Staging Info 7/5/2010

Aloha all,

Here is the info for the Kailua Independence Day Parade. Map and vital info are HERE!

Our exact line-up location is Uilama St. (See map in the attached pdf file) PFLAG is Unit #32 out of 103 units. Carlisle for Mayor is in front of us and the Knights of Columbus are right behind us.

The parade route (Kainalu Dr.) will be shut down at 9:00 AM and we need everyone in place by 9:30 AM.

There is limited parking available at Kailua Intermediate School (end of the parade) and along the side streets. There will be a shuttle running from 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM but NO PETS are allowed on the shuttle. (See the rules in the pdf file for more info) There will be NO SHUTTLE service after the parade.

The parade starts at 10 AM.

We will have water.

Human Rights Campaign and Pride Alliance Hawaii will be bringing candy but feel free to bring more - everyone loves candy! This will be our 10th Year marching in the parade and we very rarely reach the end of the parade with candy for the kids and big kids. Yes there is a lot of eye candy along the parade route for everyone.

Do not forget sunscreen because this parade does get hot and sunny.

Since we are so close to the front of the parade you can march with all of us then at the last intersection (Kuulei Road) peel off and go back and walk with your favorite candidate. They will ALL be there.

It is Official - Time to Kick up into HIGH Gear!

Well Gov. Lingle placed HB 444 on the POTENTIAL veto list today.

Yes we did expect this, so it was not a total shock all this does is it gives us another 14 days to reach Gov. Lingle and ask her to sign HB 444 into law. So to that end....

Every 4 days until July 4th we will be sending you a list of 4 different things you can do to help ensure that HB 444 becomes law. It is part of the 4-4-4 (4 Things U Can Do 4 Equality by July 4th) project. We are not expecting everyone to do everything on the list but we know people want things that they can do to help get HB 444 signed into law – so here is the first set of 4 –

Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade and Celebration - June 5th, 2010

Aloha!

We are now a couple of days away from the 20th Anniversary of the Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade and Celebration!

There has been a little change and that is we are starting the Parade from the Ala Wai Yacht Brokerage that is located at 1651 Ala Moana Blvd and we have included a map to help you locate it. It is right next the to the Hawaii Prince.

The only draw back from this change is that there is NO PARKING at this location. Only Parade vehicles will be allowed in. So you will need to either park at Magic Island and walk over or the better option is for drivers to drop off your passengers at the Ala Wai Yacht Brokerage and then park your car at Kapiolani Park and ride the PFLAG Trolley back to the Start of the Parade. The Trolley will leave Kapiolani Park right at 8:30 AM.

It is not too late to register your group or business to be in the Parade.

If you ride a motorcycle, crotchrocket or how ever you want to call it Dykes-on-bikes kick off the parade as they have for the previous 19 years.

We also have a Couples Unit being lead by one of our Couples Grand Marshal Kimi & Diane Racine.

Remember if you are an individual or just a group of friends there is no cost to walk in the parade, just like the Dykes-on-Bikes or couples units and you do not need to register. Just show-up and you are in!

Here is the TIMELINE for the Parade and Celebration on June 5th:

7:00 AM – Unit Check-in begins at the Ala Wai Yacht Brokerage

8:30 AM – Trolley leaves Kapiolani Park for the Start of the Parade

9:30 AM – All vehicles need to be in place

9:45 AM – Unit Check-in closes

10:00 AM – The 20th Anniversary Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade begins

11:30 AM – Honolulu LGBT Pride Celebration officially starts in Kapiolani Park around the Bandstand

We will have great entertainment, speakers, LGBT groups, food vendors, crafters and of course the Keiki Area!

6:00 PM – The 2010 Honolulu LGBT Pride Celebration ends

Then the party continues with the three different Official After-Parties 9 PM – 2 AM

We had to move the START of the parade to the Ala Wai Yacht Brokerage located at 1651 Ala Moana (see attached map).

Justice Means Equality - Ha'aheo!

The 20th Annual Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade

Unit check begins at 7:00 AM at Ala Wai Yacht Brokerage 1651 Ala Moana BLVD (SEE Map it is a block from the original start location)

There is NO Parking at this location only vehicles in the parade will be allowed to enter the Staging Area. So you need to either park at Magic Island or better yet drop off your riders and park at Kapiolani Park and then the driver can ride the PFLAG trolley to the start of the parade. Trolley leaves Kapiolani Park at 8:30 AM - SHARP.

Everyone needs to be in place by 9:30 AM.

Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade starts at 10 AM sharp

The parade route follows Ala Moana Blvd to Kalakaua Ave. and ends at Kapiolani Park.

Go to http://www.honoluluprideparade.org/ for applications for the Parade and the Celebration!

All money collected from parade fees are used for the support and promotion of the 2010 Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade.

Remember that the Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade will start promptly at 10 AM from Magic Island on June 5th.

We can not do this alone so we are looking for volunteers to help with the parade:

With the change in location we need two or more people to stand at the entrance of Magic Island with Pride Flags directing people to the new starting location.

Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade & Celebration on June 5th - UPDATE

Aloha!

With less than a week until the 20^th Annual Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade on June 5th and we just wanted to let you know about a couple of things that have come together over the past week.

But first we want to thank the Honolulu Gay & Lesbian Cultural Foundation for putting on a GREAT Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival this weekend. We hope that you had time to catch at least one if not all of the films.

So back to the announcements – it was confirmed this week that the Democratic Party of Hawai'i will be joining us this year. Yes in the years since the creation of the GLBT Caucus the Democratic Party has marched under the GLBT Caucus banner but this year the Party is going to have its own contingent in the Parade. Yes the Pride Parade is for the LGBT community but we could have gotten to where we are today with out our allies, so this is a GREAT addition to the Parade. Every day the list of participants grows!

The Celebration following the Parade in Kapiolani has over 40 different vendors with everything from LGBT groups to local crafters to great Food Vendors and of course the Keiki area! Our entertainment line-up is being finalized as we speak and we are working to accommodate all the great talent and speakers that are clamoring to be a part of History!

So here is the time line for Saturday June 5^th –

Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade:

7:00 a.m. - Unit check-in begins at Magic Island

8:30 a.m. – PFLAG-Oahu trolley leaves Kapiolani Park to take participants and volunteers to Magic Island

9:30 a.m. – All vehicles need to be in place

9:45 a.m. – Unit check-in closes

10:00 a.m. – The 20^th Annual Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade begins!

Celebration:

6:30 a.m. – Vendor check-in begins

8:30 a.m. – PFLAG-Oahu trolley leaves Kapiolani Park to take participants and volunteers to Magic Island

11:00 a.m. – Music starts at the Kapiolani Bandstand

12:00 p.m.. – The official start of the Celebration!

We will have great performances with speeches from our Grand Marshals and local politicians – including but not limited to Neil Abercrombie and Senate Majority Leader Gary Hooser.

6:00 p.m. – The official close of the Honolulu LGBT Pride Celebration – but the fun does not end there!

Only two more weeks till the 20^th Annual Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade and Celebration and so here is your weekly update!

We have posted the FAQs regarding the Parade and Celebration on our website www.honoluluprideparade.org and our Facebook page. This is also where we will be announcing the Grand Marshals for your 2010 Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade as well as the fabulous entertainment line-up and speakers. We promise to have something for everyone.

Remember that the Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade will start promptly at 10 AM from Magic Island on June 5th.

We can not do this alone so we are looking for volunteers to help with the parade:

People for the Color Guard – Ideally LGBT military affiliated (either retired or ex-military – it is beyond time to repeal DADT!)
Banner holders (Parade & organizational Grand Marshal banner)
Parade Monitors

We are looking for volunteers for the Celebration in Kapiolani Park following the Parade. So if you would like to help out in any area, please e-mail us at honoluluprideparade@gmail.com or call us at 672-9050. There is one thing that you can do prior to June 5^th to help us out and that is forward this e-mail to everyone in your address book and suggests us to your friends on Facebook.

Update: 2010 Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade and Celebration

Aloha Ohana,

We are three weeks away from the 20^th Annual Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade and Celebration (June 5^th). This promises to be the most dynamic and exciting Pride experience in Honolulu's history.

Things are coming along smoothly and we are getting more excited as each day passes. I know that we are not the only one's that are excited as we already received our Proclamation from the City and County of Honolulu declaring June 5^th as "Justice Means Equality – Ha'aheo" Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade Day. We hope that you are just excited about this year's activities! (See community listing below)

We do have a lot to Celebrate! this year so we hope that you will join us for a fun filled day!

The Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade will start promptly at 10 AM from Magic Island on June 5th.

We can not do this alone so we are looking for volunteers to help with the parade:

5 – People for the Color Guard – Ideally LGBT military affiliated (either retired or ex-military – it is beyond time to repeal DADT!)
4 – Banner holders (Parade & organizational Grand Marshal banner)
6 – Parade Monitors

If you would like to help out, please let us know which position you are most interested in.

Remember we have space for everyone that wants to be in your Parade. We are including the Parade application in this e-mail, please fill it out and mail, e-mail or fax it back to us.

Yes the "Dykes on Bikes" will kick off the parade as they have for the last 19 years. This year we are also inviting everyone that rides a motorcycle to join them!

We are also putting together a couples/family marching unit. So we are calling all couples and families to march with our couple Grand Marshal. And yes we will be announcing all the 2010 Grand Marshals shortly.

Following the Parade we will have the FREE Celebration in Kapiolani Park.

At the celebration we will have local LGBT Groups, Allies, Food Vendors, Keiki Area (yes we will have bouncy houses), Crafters, and great Live Entertainment! For a complete listing check us out on Facebook or our website www.honoluluprideparade.org

Booths at the Celebration start at only $25.00 for non-profits and social groups! This just in - we are offering the $45 booths to local (Made in Hawaii) businesses as part of our support local business initiative.

Aloha,

We have heard that there is some confusion about what is happening for the Month of Pride.

We too here at the Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade Committee are confused since we had an agreement that we would do the LGBT Pride Parade and Celebration in Kapiolani Park on June 5th and the Honolulu Pride Festival Foundation (HPFF) would do the Festival at McCoy Pavilion on June 19th. We came to this at a joint meeting held in February.

The reason for this split was because the only day that HPFF could get McCoy Pavilion was June 19th and that was the same day that NAACP will be having Juneteenth in Kapiolani Park (the National day commemorating the end of slavery). So we did not want to negatively impact the NAACP's event. Also we were told that the City would not issue a parade permit for June 19th because of this conflict.

This agreement can be seen in the joint Press Release (attached) or on their website http://www.honolulupff.org/documents/ImmediateRelease.pdf and the ad that HPFF ran in the current Odyssey magazine. (attached)

So something changed and HPFF Board has decided to violate this agreement.

A couple of people have asked us to just fold and not do the Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade or Celebration on June 5th. That is just not an option since we have a financial obligation to our Sponsors and participants to do the Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade on June 5th. We have Big Island Pride and Kauai Pride coming for the Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade on June 5th. Never mind that we have spent over $1,200 for both events.

We here at the Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade know that things are tough for everyone and that is why we worked to keep the prices real low. We kept the same prices for the parade that we had in 2009 and the booth prices start at only $25. Besides that the Celebration will be free for everyone to attend.

We hope that help clears some things up for everyone.

We have the theme for the 2010 Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade and Celebration:

Now that we have a theme we need a logo...

So are announcing our logo contest!

Your entry needs to incorporate the idea of Justice, Equality and Ha'aheo! Entries need to be submitted by April 9th. Entries need to be submitted in one of the following formats: jpeg, bmp, pdf or eps - Please e-mail all entries to honoluluprideparade@gmail.com

They can be full color but it would be great if the logo also can be used as black and white - but not required.

Since we are operating on a shoestring budget the only prize right now for the winner is the use of the winning logo on all 2010 Parade and Celebration materials, this website and our Facebook page.

All entries become the property of 2010 Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade & Celebration Committee.

Since we had to move the Parade and Celebration to June 5th we extended the 10% discount to February 28th!

We just added the Celebration and so we are putting the final touches on the vendor application forms for the Celebration and they should be ready by the end of the month (February). We will post them to this site once they are ready.

June a MONTH of Pride - Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade & Celebration Update

Aloha all,

We have some news about the Pride Parade and Festival.

Due to the fact that Juneteenth (a national celebration and remembrance to mark the end of slavery) is already scheduled for Kapiolani Park we cannot have the Parade on June 19th and the only other weekend available in June is June 5th. The other glitch is that the only weekend that McCoy pavilion is available is June 19th.

So after a meeting tonight between representatives of 2010 Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade Committee and Honolulu Pride Festival Foundation – we will have a month long celebration of Pride. On June 5th there will be the 2010 Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade and Celebration in Kapiolani Park (right after the parade). Then on June 19th HPFF will host the Pride Festival at McCoy pavilion.

The Pride Parade committee will be meeting on Saturday at 1 PM at Tapas Lanai Bar to go over what the Pride Celebration will look like and discuss other aspects to the Parade. The meeting is open to all and everyone is welcome.

We are happy to announce our first meeting for the 2010 Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade so come on out to find out what is in store for the 20th Anniversary!

We are looking for:
Committee Members,
Pride Ambassadors (community outreach),
Parade Day Volunteers (parade monitors and basic parade support),

At the meeting we will be going over the broad strokes for the parade and looking for your ideas how we can make this the best parade to date. We will also answer any of your questions about pride that we can. If we do not have the answers we will do our best to find the answers or at least the person who is the best person to ask.

All parade meetings are open to everyone - you do not have to be a Committee Member to attend any of the meetings.

You will have to be a Committee Member to vote on the theme, Grand Marshals and Pink Coconut Cockroach recipient(s) later in the year.

So come on out to make your voice heard and be a part of history and bring a friend!

The Pink coconut Cockroach recipient is a person and/or institution which has done significant harm to the interests of LGBT peoples to receive the Pink Coconut Cockroach. This person is selected by LGBT Pride Parade Committee after reviewing all the nominations. The recipient of the Pink Coconut Cockroach may "award" as many as three Pink Coconuts Cockroaches (one each) in the following categories:

20th Anniversary Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade

PFLAG-Oahu is proud to announce that the registration application is now ready for the 20th Anniversary Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade! The Parade and Festival is set for Saturday, June 19 5, 2010.

Even though there has been an increase in almost everything since last year we are not increasing the Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade entry fee. In fact for this year we are offering 10% off your entry fee if your paid application is received by January 31, 2010. We are looking to make this the biggest LGBT Pride Parade in Honolulu’s history! To that end we are continuing the multi-tiered pricing schedule. We think that there is a price for almost any group.

The Parade Committee is asking for your input on the theme for this year’s Honolulu LGBT Pride Parade. Please submit your suggestions to .

We are looking for volunteers:

to help with the planning of the parade,

getting the word out about the parade,

locating sponsors to help cover the costs of the parade and

support on the day of the parade.

Remember the parade this Saturday. We roll at 9:00a so it would be a good idea to get there by 8:30 to find parking at Magic Island at Ala Moana Park and situate yourselves with a group you like. Bring the kids!

NOTE: Please join the community for a picnic and brief program at the end of the parade at Kapiolani Park. Bring your lunches and work out your parking accordingly.

[update 5/28] Just to be clear. The Parade leaves from Magic Island at 9 am and ends at the Kapiolani Park Bandstand area, where there will be a picnic @10:30 am. You can park at Kapiolani Park EARLY and find your way to Magic Island by bus, another car, or (shudder) taxi OR you can park at Magic Island and figure out how to get back to your car after the parade/picnic later.

TheBus numbers 8, 19, 22, 23, 24, 42, 98A, 201, 202, & 203 appear to go from Kapiolani to Ala Moana. See TheBus map.

“We Are All One Family” 2009 LGBT Gay Pride Parade - May 30, 2009

PFLAG O'ahu is honored to sponsor the 2009 Honolulu Gay Pride Parade on May 30. It is one of our only means to allow our families an opportunity to inform and support our children and friends within the larger community.

This event is planned in recognition that civil rights is guaranteed by our most sacred of all documents, our US Constitution. Pride Parades were instituted to memorialize the 1969 Stonewall stand for equal rights and an end to discrimination and assaults. The work continues.

It is our hope that as this event grows with an open door policy, the parade will attract more participants here and from around the world. This year we hope to fill some empty hotel rooms and restaurants during this downturn in visitors. More will come in the future.

Please join us in the spirit of aloha for the Saturday parade, May 30, 2009 for Honolulu’s Gay Pride Parade (get to the Magic Island parking lot before we leave at 9 AM). As you notice, we are trying something different this year. The May date was chosen to link with the Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival on the preceding weekend in an effort to build the concept of a week of celebrations like many of our sister cities. We realize that this is a big and slightly different focus but change is in the air.

Due to international financial restraints, we have kept our registration fees as low as possible. Non-Profit fees are $40.00 for each entry and For-Profits $80.00 in hopes that others will join us.

Gay Pride Parade May 30, 2009

Aloha-

Here is the registration form for the May 30, 2009 Gay Pride Parade. More information is coming but it is important that this form be generously shared to assure the widest possible distribution. Connecting the Hawaii Rainbow Film Festival with the parade was one of the considerations that drove our selection of the May 30th parade date. Pride parades usually have a variety of events that support one other. We intend to increase recognition of the dignity and rights of our community and thus seek a wider breadth of support for freedom of speech and civil rights from a larger, more diverse list of possible participants. We all know that the GLBTIQ community enriches some and keeps certain businesses open. We also expect our legislators come to the parade and show their support, and we are looking for those who have made statements of support from the public sector to show up and walk the talk.

Faithful supporters of the past Gay Pride Parades have boldly put their names and organizations in public view. We are proud and thankful for their support. Now we want to invite others to join all of us. Letters will be going out to groups that have been missing in the recent past and to new organizations as well.

Social Justice requires that each of us stand up for Equal Rights for all. It's part of our US Constitution. We just want to invite others to join in this opportunity.

Please think outside the box in order to expand our invitation list. We are also looking for people to take on the responsibility of enhancing the 2009 Gay Pride Parade. All suggestions will be considered when accompanied by agreement to work for the realization of any suggestion, including financial and physical implementation of the suggestion. :)

PFLAG-Oahu has a reputation on taking on difficult issues. We see this effort as an opportunity to inform, support and advocate the mission of supporting our children, families and friends in the GLBTIQ community.
